On August 31, 2023, VIP’s chief surgeon Dr. Myung Ju Lee presented his lecture on deep plane facelift – “The Role of Buccal Fat Pad Lift in Deep Plane Facelift,” at the prestigious International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) Congress held in Athens, Greece.

This international event brought together leading plastic surgeons from around the world to share and discuss the latest innovations in plastic and aesthetic surgery. Dr. Lee captivated the audience by highlighting the importance of addressing the buccal fat pad during deep plane facelift procedures. His insights emphasized how incorporating a buccal fat pad lift can enhance especially in Asian patients.

As the first plastic surgeon in Korea to perform the extended deep plane facelift, Dr. Lee has earned international recognition for his expertise and dedication to refining surgical techniques.
