Full Anti-Aging Surgeries for Caucasian Male Patient

This case, performed by Dr. Myung Ju Lee MD PhD, involves a Caucasian male patient in his 60s who underwent a comprehensive facial rejuvenation surgery. At two weeks post-operation, the patient shows early signs of recovery from a series of procedures addressing significant facial aging, including deep nasolabial folds, facial volume loss, jowls, and a sagging neck often referred to as a "turkey neck."
Patient Profile and Concerns
Age/Sex: 60s, Male
Main Concerns: Prominent nasolabial folds, loose skin on the face and neck, deeply set forehead wrinkles, strong resting facial expressions, facial volume loss, jowls, and turkey neck.
Objective: Restore a youthful facial structure through deep tissue repositioning, volume restoration, and skin tightening.
Procedures Performed
01. Extended Deep Plane Facelift
Direct dissection of deeper facial planes through incisions along the ears, targeting the anterior face for enhanced lift and definition.
02. Platysmal Necklift
Excess neck skin was removed via an incision behind the ears to tighten and contour the lower face and neck.
03. Middle Neck Plication
Correction of turkey neck through a submental (under-chin) incision to tighten central neck muscles and remove sagging tissue.
04. Endoscopic Forehead Brow Lift
Endoscopic lift via incisions hidden within the scalp, reducing glabellar tension and elevating forehead skin for a smoother, lifted appearance.
05. Fat Graft
Autologous fat transfer to restore volume in the nasolabial folds, cheeks, and temples, improving contour and softening hollow areas.
Recovery and Results
Anesthesia: General anesthesia with IV sedation (TIVA)
Recovery Time: Two weeks for initial healing, with more complete results expected in 4 to 6 months
Outcome
The patient’s facial appearance was significantly rejuvenated. Deep wrinkles have been reduced, facial volume has been restored, and the overall impression is one of a refreshed and more balanced face.
