[2003.06] Invited Speaker at the Young-Honam Plastic Surgery Society
Date: June 2003
Event: Academic Seminar of the Young-Honam Regional Chapter, Korean Society of Plastic Surgeons
Dr. Myung-Ju Lee was invited as a guest speaker to discuss endoscopic surgery for facial wrinkle correction. In his presentation, Dr. Lee emphasized that performing only a double-eyelid procedure on an aging face can exacerbate sagging brows and fine wrinkles around the eyes and glabella. As a result, the facial expression may appear harsher and more unnatural post-surgery. Instead, Dr. Lee suggested that for older patients, raising the forehead, eyebrows, and even the cheeks using an endoscopic approach can minimize visible scarring and achieve a more natural, youthful, and brighter appearance.
