[2004] Live Surgery Demonstration at Asan Medical Center
Live Surgery Demonstration at Asan Medical Center – Bulbous Nasal Tip Correction
VIP Plastic Surgery Dr. Myung Ju Lee performed a live surgery demonstration at the 2004 Fall Symposium of the Korean Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
This symposium brought together prominent figures in the plastic surgery field and was attended by over 400 plastic surgeons. Dr. Lee operated on a patient with a bulbous nasal tip, showcasing techniques such as advanced cartilage restructuring, septal cartilage harvesting and grafting, paranasal augmentation (so-called “noble surgery”), and muscle surgery. Through this live demonstration, he introduced new approaches and techniques for nasal surgery.
Previously, in 2002, Dr. Lee had been invited to perform a live surgery at the Rhinoplasty Symposium at Yonsei University Severance Hospital. Following that event, he was again invited to conduct a live surgery demonstration for the 2004 symposium of the Korean Academy of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery—one of the largest organizations of plastic surgeons specializing in aesthetic procedures. By performing two live rhinoplasty surgeries at major symposiums, he shared his innovative methods with fellow plastic surgeons, thereby contributing to advances in nasal surgery techniques.
