Dr. Myung Ju Lee M.D. was invited as a guest speaker to the 30th Anniversary Academic Conference of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Chosun University Medical School. He delivered a lecture on performing a High-SMAS facelift in conjunction with intraoperative fat grafting for the aging face.

Because aging involves not only tissue sagging but also volume loss, relying solely on a facelift can make the face appear more hollow. To address both issues simultaneously, Dr. Lee’s technique involves placing autologous fat grafts beneath the dissected tissues during surgery. This method provides a novel solution that corrects volume loss while effectively lifting and tightening the face.
