Turkey Neck Removal Surgery - Necklift, Deep Neck, Genioplasty 1 month Post Operation Before and After Photos
These before-and-after photos show a male patient in his 60s, one month after a combination of procedures was performed to address turkey neck, nasolabial folds, jowls, and a weak chin. The goal was to remove excess tissue under the chin, tighten and lift loose skin, and improve definition in the neck and jawline.
Patient Profile and Concerns
Age/Sex: 60s, male
Main Concerns: turkey neck, nasolabial folds, jowls, weak chin
Objective: remove excess tissue under the chin, tighten and lift loosened skin, and enhance definition in the neck and jawline
Surgeries Performed
01. Extended Deep Plane Facelift: An incision was made along the earline and into the hairline, allowing deeper dissection to address nasolabial folds directly.
02. Platysmal Neck Lift: An incision was placed behind the ear to lift and secure loose neck skin.
03. Middle Neck Plication: A 3 cm incision below the chin allowed tightening of the underlying muscle to create a firmer neck contour.
04. Deep Neck Surgery (Submandibular Gland Reduction): Reduced the size of submandibular glands under the jaw without an additional external incision.
05. Genioplasty: Advanced a weak chin to create a stronger jawline and structural support for the lower face.
Anesthesia and Recovery
General anesthesia with IV sedation (TIVA) was used.
Initial healing two weeks in Jeju. More complete results are usually seen after about four months. Photos were taken one month post-op.
Outcome
Excessive skin below the chin was removed, leading to a smoother neck line and improved jaw contour. Nasolabial folds were reduced for a fresher appearance. By advancing the weak chin, the lower face gained additional stability and balance.
